The ACSD Electronic Discussion Group

The electronic discussion group (or listserv) concept may be new to you so we hope the following introduction to the group's purpose and use will help you utilize this new tool which we believe will have a positive impact on your work with students.

The Purpose of the ACSD Discussion Group is Threefold:

1. To provide a forum for convenient and FREE conversation with other Christian student development professionals
2. To facilitate rapid sharing of information. As the group grows numerically, subscribers will be able to quickly receive numerous responses to their questions from all over the country
3. To promote the goals and mission of the Association for Christians in Student Development

Here's how it works:

1. Go to http://lists.acsdhome.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
2. Under “Subscribe to discuss” fill in your E-Mail address, real name, create a password, and specify whether or not you want to receive mail batched in a daily digest or not.  (Digest mail will result in you receiving one message per day, with all of that day’s mail bundled into it.  Non-digest mail will result in you receiving each message as it is posted to the remailer.)
3. Click Subscribe.
4. Within a few minutes, you should receive an E-Mail with further instructions on how to confirm your subscription request.  Follow these insutrctions.
5. Your subscription request will be sent to the list moderators.  As soon as your request is approved, you will begin receiving list mail.
